Great food and awesome staff!!

Great atmosphere! Great food! Friendly staff! And wonderful decor!

We were really happy with the taste of the food but The waiter needs to work on his waiting skills.. he was a bit rude and hurried us along instead of answering our questions. Then at the end of the meal when we paid the bill he just automatically added the tip. Which actually turned out to be $3 less than we were gonna tip him.. but it still bothered me because there was nothing on the bill indicating that the gratuity would be added.

Overall the service and atmosphere is awesomeThe food was very good... I had the tonka melt.! It was delicious and the other half had enchiladas... Not too impressed with those... These appeared to be from the freezer and warmed up but could be wrong...With that, the iced tea tasted like dish water. Will we go back? Most definitely! We enjoyed our visit and the staff are very welcoming!

I love the green chili stew. I go there specifically for this.

Good place to eat, nachos though are meh, they microwave them to melt the cheese which turns it into rubber. But the rest of the food is good.

Hometown service and food, very authentic green Chile stew and other recipes. Food is always fresh and they will alter items on menu to suit your tastes.

This place has good and yummy food and the staff is friendly and it's very clean. If you're in the mood to step back in time go to this place they have old gaspumps and old car stuff license plates,oil can etc it's set up like an old gas station it's very nice inside and in the back they have an ice cream parlor which is very delicious too

This is satisfying. Homemade/high quality/well prepared. Each thing our party inquired about and then ordered was described precisely; portion sizes, ingredients, etc...the Reuben Sandwich is a masterpiece. The hamburgers remind one of what this sandwich is supposed to taste like: grilled heaven!! The Tilapia flakey, moist. The vegetables all fresh and meticulously sliced. There are scant items to be found for vegetarians here, but, there are some. This is a place you go for a hearty meal, prepared for you as if you were a guest, which, really, you are.

Great chilli cheese fries the green chili makes it different from other burger joints with chili options.

We hadn't been in a few years because the food was not great, but tried it again recently and were pleasantly surprised. The menu has been revamped to burgers, sandwiches, and Mexican dishes, and everything we've tried so far is very good. I really like the Reuben sandwich, and my husband's favorite is the enchilada plate. Definitely worth a visit.

Great service and good food. With a waitstaff that is friendly and professional, and food that is fresh and delicious you will love The Filling Station. Prices are reasonable and I have never left there unsatisfied.

Awesome spot in Hamilton, MT! The food is fresh, creative, and yummy. They have beer and wine too. The staff is great too. I've eaten here several times. Now I've moved from Montana and miss The Filling Station. Lots of stuff to look at too. Go there!!!

The food and service is great. We were in after the lunch rush with not many customers in the restaurant. I felt given that it took way too long to get our food.

Ordered chips and fish tacos which were delicious. The service was bad, I almost left before ordering because of being ignored. They only had a few tables at the time but the waiter kept walking right past our table..maybe going outside? Idk then we had to wait at the bar for our check then wait longer for the change. Bad vibes but good food.

We were there for the first time during a very busy lunch. Our waitress was good and kept our wait to a minimum. Our meals we very flavorful and the hatch chilli peppers were delicious

Excellent New Mexican food! This is coming from someone who has lived in NM and tasted nearly all of the food in the state. Trust me it's the real deal. Service was great too!

This place is great! During our week stay here in Hamilton we came by twice, the food is delicious and the staff & owners are so friendly! This is the kind of place that makes you feel right at home. AJ, the owners son, is very knowledgeable on the recipes and describes each plate beautifully, by far my favorite dish was the chiles rellenos, I absolutely loved the red sauce. The owner also brought us warm cookies after our dinner, all I can say is we love it and I know you will too 😉

By far the best burger I've had in Hamilton or the bitterroot by far...pretty awesome they are right across from "Naps" the "Burger restaurant" cuz Filling Station blows naps away. Food is the same price if not cheaper and way better.... booze is cheaper than naps....who wants to pay $12 for ONE SHOT? All around the filling station has a MUCH better variety of food and all is cooked to perfection. Most of the time my naps burger is still bleeding. Good job filling station and keep it up!

Yummy sandwich choices and good service

My boyfriend and I had our 3 year anniversary dinner here and it was amazing! We ordered the carne asada fries, with 1 shrimp taco and 1 fish taco. The food was AMAZING and I can't wait to go back! I was a little surprised by the cost/size ratio for the carne asada fries, but the quality was above expected and it was very filling, so it was worth it. We also had my service dog with us and our server M.J. (I think) was very professional about her. He didn't interact with her, and brought her a bowl of water to make sure she was comfortable. I felt very welcomed and not at all in the way, unlike some other restaurants. I was confused about the $2 taco Tuesdays, as I thought that it implied all tacos were $2. I was wrong, they have a ground beef taco that is for $2. It was still good, but the mix-up was confusing. I thought that our fish and shrimp tacos would be $2 each. Regardless, we left full, and satisfied. Tipped our server a good 25-30% because he deserved it.
